In almost any sport there are common injuries that are typical of that activity - some, like tennis elbow, are even named after the sport!
The upside of these common injuries is that if you are expecting them, then there are usually things you can do to either avoid them, or at least mitigate the extent of the injury.
These common injuries can occur almost anywhere on the body. We look at a variety of them including those to the following areas:
- neck
- back
- shoulder
- arm and elbow
- hand and wrist
- groin and pelvis
- hip and thigh
- knee
- lower leg
- ankle and foot
Whether through training programs to increase strength and flexibility, or through better equipment, anything that you can do to avoid these problems will increase the time you can actually spend doing your sport or activity.
If you add these descriptions to the rehab articles we offer, you'll have everything you need to keep playing, or to recover fully if injury does strike.
