Barbell bicep curls


Barbell curls - the barbell curl is a must if you wish to develop the bicep muscles. You must keep good posture throughout
 
What you need for Barbell curls :
  • A barbell
  • A weight-lifting belt

how to do it
  • Grasp a barbell with your palms facing forward. In this position your elbows should brush your sides
     
  • Contracting your biceps slowly curl the bar to a position just in front of your chest
     
  • For a count of three slowly lower the bar back to the start position. This is one repetition
     
  • Repeat for desired reps. i.e. 6-8 strength, 8-12 for building muscle, 12-15 for endurance and tone
