What you need for Barbell curls :
- A barbell
- A weight-lifting belt

how to do it |
Grasp a barbell with your palms facing forward. In this position your elbows should brush your sides
Contracting your biceps slowly curl the bar to a position just in front of your chest
For a count of three slowly lower the bar back to the start position. This is one repetition
Repeat for desired reps. i.e. 6-8 strength, 8-12 for building muscle, 12-15 for endurance and tone |
