Side bends - performing side bends will help you develop a strong lean mid section.
Note: You can not 'spot reduce' bodyfat using this exercise. |
What you need for side bends :
- A dumbbell
- A spare 2 or 3 mins!

how to do it |
Grasp a moderately weighted dumbbell. Widen your stance and allow your arm to hang loosely by your side
Place the opposite hand on your head. Begin to bend to the side from your waist
Stop the movement when you can feel a slight stretch in your oblique muscles (side of the waist). Pause briefly
Reverse the movement - allow only the oblique muscles to bring you to an upright position. Repeat |
