What you need for barbell shrugs :
- A barbell
- A weight-lifting belt

how to do it |
Grasp a moderately weighted barbell at shoulder width. Stand tall and allow your arms to hang loosely by your sides
Tighten your shoulders and neck and begin to raise your shoulders towards your ears
Pause and squeeze the base of your neck tightly. Hold for a count of two
Slowly lower. Pause briefly and repeat for the desired number of repetitions |
